'Passport to Magnification' - an Interactive Workshop *CPD Accredited
Associated Optical recognises that having the right tools for the job is only half the story. Knowing how to best utilise those tools is key to achieving any successful outcome. With this in mind, Associated Optical has developed a series of 60 minute, 2 CPD point accredited, highly interactive workshops that explores each of the major categories of low vision and magnification devices.
More practitioners are looking to expand their range of services within optical practice. We have a duty of care to our ageing population and to manage effectively and sensitively those who present with permanently reduced vision. These 4 highly interactive workshops look at how we can all incorporate and discuss the benefits of magnification with our senior patients.
The 4 modules are as follows:
easyVISION - Task based magnification from Eschenbach Optik
CPD reference - C-102382
DIGITAL - Electronic Vision Enhancement Systems (EVES)
CPD reference - C-102383
FILTERS - What are oveRx & FILTERS?
CPD reference - C-102384
Telescopes - Telescopes, Binoculars & Bioptics
CPD reference - TBC

Delegates will have the opportunity to discuss the advantages and specific design features of optical devices used by both sight impaired and normal-sighted individuals who seek the benefits of additional light and magnification for specific visual tasks.
