- Optometrists & Dispensing Opticians
- 11 interactive CET Points, including Peer Discussion
- Rehabilitation Officers
- CPD Core Competency: Low Vision, Learning Domain: Continuing Education
- 6 Learning Hours
- Orthoptists
- BIOS Accreditation, Level 1, Section 9

Course overview:
- A review of current UK population demographics and how the future of low vision management is changing
- A Structured Low Vision Examination, including methods of assessment, task analysis, acuity and contrast reserves
- The generic attributes and unique design features of a wide range of low vision devices to include:
- Optical hand and stand magnifiers, spectacle mounted magnifiers and hands free solutions.
- A full review of telescopes aids, BiOptics and the growing market of electrical vision enhancement systems (EVES) including the eSight head mounted display
