In addition to the superb, distortion-free image achieved through both aplanatic and achromatic lenses, these magnifiers are glass reinforced and have a non-breakable polyamide body. The body provides a dustproof seal when shut.
All of Eschenbach's metal precision folding magnifiers have matt-chromium plated brass bodies with eyelet and a black metal lens frame. Powers range between 5x and 20x.
