Eschenbach's new menasLUX is the worlds first 3x LED illuminated lightfield magnifier. Traditionally brightfields achieve magnification of appx. 1.8x but with extensive design and development Eschenbach has produced a 3x magnifier which is positioned flat on the page and has a variable distance of use.

menasZOOM - Magnification at your fingertips

Almost everyone at some time or other has experienced this common problem: whilst reading the newspaper or a book, small print or lengthy test, the eyes have to work under considerable and constant strain. It is not unusual that a reading aid alone can provide the answer. Conventional magnifiers are often only equipped with one magnification level and therefore soon reach their limits. With the menasZOOM magnifier, Eschenbach Optik is offering an immediate and optimum solution:entirely in accordance with the user's individual vision requirements, the circular lens ring can simply be turned to adjust the magnification level from 2.2x magnification right up to 3.4x. The compact design of the lens allows it to be easily moved across the reading material.

Bright field magnifiers

These bright field magnifiers are particularly suitable for children to support remaining visual acuity due to their accommodation capacity.

The use of bright field magnifiers in combination with other magnification vision aids offers great advantages. With the same level of magnification, the reading distance can be almost doubled.

The user can achieve a 'tremble-free' image as the brightfield magnifiers are placed directly on the reading material.
