Application:

  • These bright-field magnifiers are particularly suitable for children to support remaining visual acuity due to their accommodation capacity.
  • Bright-field magnifiers are very suitable for use as combination magnifiers (for overaddition or systems with attachment lenses).
    Example: Overaddition 6dpt    = 1.5x
    + Bright-field magnifier            = 1.8x
    Overall magnification               = 2.7x

Reading distance of 18cm (6dpt) is maintained despite bright-field magnifier!

Characteristics:

  • Up to 6x magnification can be achieved via the accommodation capacity through approximation.
  • Double the surface brightness of the image as well as ambient brightness.
  • Very handy and compact.
  • Extreme image brilliance

Makrolux illuminated brightfield 

The newly developed makrolux combines magnified reproduction, optimum illumination and perfect line following for a new fatigue-free kind of reading.

Print that is too small and poor illumination causes our eyes to get tired. Makrolux has a remedy. A magnification of 1:2.2 and a reading area illuminated over all of its area with just one LED, makes it possible to read over wide areas without great strain.

Due to the special kind of lens (bright field magnifier) the picture under the lens appears significantly brighter and in addition the virtual image shown by the magnifier lies almost exactly in the same position as the actual picture. As a result when reading with the makrolux the eye only needs to make minimal adjustment.
